As you might already be aware, I’m absolutely obsessed with Jonas Akerlund’s film Lords of Chaos, which is a telling of the real life story regarding Norwegian black metal band Mayhem. It tells the story of lead singer Euronymous and his infamous creation of the scene, using Satanism as an inspiration. The young controversial figure had an ongoing feud with fellow musician Varg, who eventually went on to take drastic measures against religion, society and Euronymous himself.
