February is a beautiful month; it’s Women In Horror Month. Even though this should be a continuous celebration and much longer than one month, it’s amazing to see the hard work around promoting the cause.

As part of this month there’s one film festival over in Berlin championing the best feature and short horror films made by women in horror. The Final Girls film festival had one of the most badass line-ups this year, and I was fortunate enough to catch the Blood and Flesh horror shorts block and the provoking Hounds of Love feature film.

Even though it was to be expected, I was highly impressed with the quality of films that were produced and how they really tried to showcase the best women in horror for acting and directing.

You can read the review of all five Blood and Flesh shorts over on JUMPCUT Online.
